Holiday is a media strategist and former Director of Marketing for American
Apparel. Throughout his career, Holiday has exploited digital media by
promoting controversial stories and by pulling a number of manipulative stunts
that have lead to other controversial stories. In 2012, Holiday released Trust Me I’m Lying: Confessions of a Media
Manipulator in which he exposes how he has successfully manipulated the
media. Holiday splits the book into two parts, the first part outlines how
blogs and the media work and how they can be manipulated, the second part outlines what blogs mean and the
consequences the current media can bring.
